Mixed use masterplan and first 500 homes

From 2004 to 2008 whilst at Broadway Malyan Architects I was Project Architect for a 1200 home masterplan for a former hospital site at Dartford, winning the bid competition for Taylor Wimpey and subsequently delivering planning approval for masterplan and Design Code, detailed design of two of the five phases (build-out ongoing).  The development – shortlisted for a Housing Design Award in 2008 – includes blueways, greenways, a mixed-use district centre and school,  innovation centre and local play and homezones.
